Japan in 1614: The great ruler Tokugawa unifies the counrry which has been disjointed for a long time and the time of the clan battles between the sovereigners seems to be sealed. It seems that the ninja master Hattori Hanzo and his shinobi warriors become useless for the further development in the country, and this leads to a fatal plan: Each five of the best warriors of the the two most greatest clans of the country are to fight against each other. And the clan who emerge victorious ensure the succession of Tokugawa. Now, 10 warriors with superhuman skills compete against each other. One of them is the young Oboro as well as the clan successor Gennosuke. Both are to fight for their lives and the future of their clan. But nobody guess that both unifies more than separates them from each other...
