This scroll shows a
daimyô in armor from the late
Sengoku era (1482-1568). The crest shows that he could be a member of the family
Ota (Yamato) oder
Arima (
Echizen) as they wear melon blossoms in their
mon.
Impressive, powerful and well preserved
kagemono.
