In 2003, the Japanese military conducts an experiment with the aim to have units travel through time. The test is successful and one of the unit gets gack to the year 1547. Suddenly, they are attacked by an army of samurai and they have no chance to return to their time. Two years later, an elite troop gets the order to bring the lost soldats back - but the team has not much time. Once they reach the past time, they find out that the Japanese colonel Matoba has become a despotic leader of the samurai. A merciless fight between swordsmen and hightech units starts....
