KumusĂ´ - beggar monk

The scene shows a komusô (beggar monk of the Fuke sect) standing in front of a temple's garden and raising his tengai (head covering). In his hand he holds the obligatory bamboo flute (shakuhachi).
It is said that ninja warriors used not only to disguise as komusô in order to be able to travel around undetected and exercise their spy activities.
Beautiful sheet treating the subject Kyûdô / Kyûjutsu.
