Fudôshin (Immovable heart)
 

This scroll shows a calligraphy with the meaning "immovable heart". Fudôshin is the state of equanimity or immovability (literally and methaphorically "immovable spirit" or "immovable heart". In Japanese martial arts, fudôshin symbolizes the mental dimension of the advanced practitioner.

Condition: Very good, fresh colours; Slight mould stains at the lower honshi - however barely visible. Overall a beatiful and remarkable scroll.
