Samurai armament
 

The illustration shows a samurai armor. Probably, a museum exhibit was the model for the drawer.
An interesting perspective seen from European prospect of that time. The illustration is highly detailed. The face shield (menpo), however, looks slightly strange.
A wonderful gift. The woodblock print is supplied with a passepartout.

Format: approx. 16 x 23 cm.
Year of publication: Around 1873.
Condition: Illustration might be slightly darkened and might have slight mould spots due to its age. The illustration is from a book or a newspaper and has a text on the reverse side.
