Kabuto and eboshi
 

This scroll shows two samurai helmets. One of eboshi type. The second one in ô-boshi form. The helmets have very broad "helmet ears". In the background grasses.
A wonderful fresh kagemono.

Handpainted on paper.
Artist: Unkown, however with seal.
Date: About 1950.
Length: approx. 190 cm
Width: approx. 43 cm
Material: Paper, Edging linen and silk
Material of the endpieces: Probably bakelite.
Condition: Very good. Fresh colours. Some mould stains on the back side due to its age. The scroll is slightly wrinkled due to the long storage.
